Saturday, November 12
November 12th: Twelve members showed up for a days trail clearing. The weather was cool (around +5), mostly cloudy and even a few flakes of snow. We split up into two teams with Team A taking two brush cutters plus clippers and headed off to to the Orange trail. Team A compleated from E to E1 to F and from E1 to M. Team B hiked into Lac Perdu and then worked or cleared their way out. They cleared the Crown South from I 1 to I, The Blue from J2 to I and then continued on the Crown West from I through to H2 and the Yellow from H2 to H near Jackson Rd. This weekends work compleats our trail clearing on the touring trails.Next Saturday, November 19th, will be our last official day of trail clearing this season. To close out the season we will be working on the Racing Trails.
There will be trail clearing again Saturday, Nov 19th, same time, but new trails. Please advise D. Bowes-Lyon if you plan to participate at dboweslyon@videotron.ca.
